Sigma clip the extraction region.
- Parameters:
- datandarray
Input 3D data array to perform extraction from.
- var_poissonndarray
Poisson noise variance array (2D) to be extracted following data extraction method.
- var_rnoisendarray
Read noise variance array (2D) to be extracted following data extraction method.
- var_flatndarray
Flat noise variance array (2D) to be extracted following data extraction method.
- mask_targndarray
Mask of pixels (2D or 3D) defining the extended source region. A value of 1 indicates the pixel is in the extraction region.
- wmapndarray
Weight map (3D) for IFU.
- sigma_clipfloat
Outlier sigma clipping parameter.
- Returns:
- sigma_clip_regionndarray
Summed extracted region (1D) with sigma clipping for each wavelength plane.
- d_var_poissonndarray
Sigma-clipped Poisson noise variance array (1D).
- d_var_rnoisendarray
Sigma-clipped read noise variance array (1D).
- d_var_flatndarray
Sigma-clipped flat noise variance array (1D).
- n_bkgndarray
Sum of pixels used in sigma clipped extracted region.
